It's frustrating to start a project and later realize that you don't have everything you need to complete it. That's why we've included a handy list of what you should have available before you begin. You'll need access to a computer with the following:
a Web browser that supports XML and CSS. We recommend Netscape 6 or higher, or Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
a text editor. If you're running Windows, Notepad will do nicely. If you use a different text editor, always save as text only with line breaks.
You do not need Internet access to do the tutorial exercises.
It should take you about two hours to read through the entire guide and complete the exercises.
