Generally, we expect that most students will have some experience
using screen capture software and authoring basic HTML documents.
That said, the course provides assistance with basic HTML
authoring, so students without HTML experience can successfully
complete the course as long as they don't mind putting a
little extra effort into learning basic HTML authoring.

The instructor will guide you throughout the course by providing
one-to-one mentoring. During the course, the instructor will
answer your questions by email, provide you with feedback
on your assignments, and lead optional text chat sessions
to discuss the materials and assignments.
Susan Bodnik is the author and instructor
for this course. She has over 8 years of experience in teaching
and developing online courses. Susan holds a degree in English
from the University of Waterloo with specialized focus in
communications, rhetoric and online learning. She is also
an active member in the Society for Technical Communication.
