As a business professional, you will often be asked to
create reports and present their findings. Unfortunately,
good report writing and presentation preparation skills
are usually learned "on-the-fly" through "trial-and-error".
If you're looking to improve these skills, then this course
is for you.
Business Writing II is a 6-week online business
writing course designed to teach you how to write concise
formal and informal reports and presentations. You'll learn
basic writing techniques such as how to use an active voice,
how to apply the 6 C's of writing, how to avoid using jargon
or offensive phrases and how to write with a YOU attitude!
You'll also learn about common report and presentation formats.
You'll practice what you've learned in three assignments.
In assignment one, you will produce an informal report.
In assignment two, you will write a formal report. And in
assignment three, you will produce a presentation based
on one of your reports.

As an added value, we'll include our Grammar Essentials

skills at your convenience.

just about what I expected. I hope to have time to complete
the grammar course soon too! -- Tim

the course. Kitty was very helpful and patient. -- Pat
The teacher (Kitty) was always there if you needed her. She
was great! Looking into signing up some of my staff. Looking
forward to taking another class. -- Susan
As a side note, this morning I prepared a Scope of Work
as you had guided me and it was very successful. The client
bought our services and was very complimentary regarding
the presentation. Although the client doesn't know you they
do know that a person named Kitty helped me prepare it.
Thank you. You have been a great help. -- Norm
