Description
This project included the analysis, design, prototype and
verification of a problem analyzer interface created to reduce
and simplify the task of diagnosing network problems in complex
multilayer networks. In this particular interface, network
topology was used as a tracing mechanism because most operators
were familiar with topology interfaces.
A patent was granted and the interface is currently being
incorporated into Nortel's Preside portfolio. In combination
with the visual language, this interface is a key product
differentiator.
