Business Writing I Course
Business Writing I is an 8-week online business writing course that teaches you how to write effective business documents. As a business professional, you must be able to communicate effectively through the written word if you are going to succeed in today's business environment. If you want to improve your business writing skills, then this course is ideal for you.
In this course you'll learn about the proper format for letters, memos, email messages, and proposals. You'll also learn basic business writing techniques such as how to use active voice, how to maintain consistency, how to write for your audience, and how to write concisely!
In the first assignment, you'll write a series of letters. In the second assignment, you'll write several short memos and email messages. In the third assignment, you'll write and design a formal proposal. By the end of this course, you will have identified and corrected any weaknesses in your writing. You'll be writing clear, concise business documents that will help you communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
As a bonus, Business Writing I also includes grammar readings and exercises that will help you to improve your grammar skills. You'll learn to apply the rules of grammar in your business documents so that you are a more effective business writer.

About The Instructor

Kitty Bucsko has been teaching business communications and computer technology courses for over 30 years including courses for the Canadian Institute of Management. She has been a member of the Ontario College of Teachers since its inception and has a passion for the Internet and telecommunications technology.
